Ledomar International Private Limited ("Ledomar", "we", "us") respects the privacy of everyone who contacts us or uses this website. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over it.
1. Who we are
Ledomar International Private Limited is a ship chandler and marine supplier registered in India, with its office at No: 250, Thambu Chetty Street, Mannady, George Town, Chennai — 600 001, Tamil Nadu, India. For the purposes of Indian data protection law we are the Data Fiduciary in respect of the personal data described below.
2. Personal data we collect
2.1 Information you give us
When you submit the quotation request form, the contact form, or contact us by email, telephone or WhatsApp, we collect the information you choose to provide, which may include:
- Your name and the company or vessel operator you represent
- Email address and telephone or WhatsApp number
- Vessel name and IMO number
- Port of call, ETA and ETD
- The requirement categories you select, your subject line and message
- Any requisition file or document you send us
We ask only for what we need in order to prepare a quotation and arrange delivery. You are not required to create an account, and we do not ask for financial or identity documents through this website.
2.2 Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard server logs, which may include your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the date and time of the request. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running, not to build a profile of you.
2.3 What we do not do
This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels or web analytics. We do not profile visitors, we do not run behavioural advertising, and we do not sell, rent or trade personal data to anyone, at any time.

- To read your requisition, prepare a quotation and answer your enquiry
- To source items, confirm specifications and arrange delivery to your vessel
- To coordinate with your ship agent, our suppliers and transport providers as required to complete the supply
- To issue delivery notes, invoices and supporting documentation
- To keep records required by tax, customs and company law
- To respond to you about an existing or previous order
We do not send marketing emails to enquirers unless you have asked us to.
4. Legal basis
Where Indian law applies, we process personal data on the basis of your consent, given when you submit an enquiry, and for the legitimate uses permitted under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Where the law of another jurisdiction applies to you — for example the UK or EU GDPR — we rely on the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering into one, on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and on compliance with legal obligations.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal data only where it is necessary, and only with:
- Our suppliers, manufacturers and transport providers, so far as needed to source and deliver your order
- Your ship agent or appointed representative, to coordinate delivery alongside
- Port, customs and statutory authorities, where required for access, clearance or bonded stores
- Our service providers listed in section 6, who process data on our behalf
- Professional advisers and authorities, where we are required to do so by law

Loading or using this site involves the following services. Each receives your IP address as a technical necessity of delivering content, and each operates under its own privacy policy.

7. Cookies
We do not set cookies of our own, and we do not use cookies for analytics or advertising. The only cookies you may encounter are those set by the embedded Google Map described above, which are placed by Google and governed by Google's policies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings without affecting your ability to send us an enquiry.
8. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not result in an order are kept only as long as they are commercially useful, and reviewed periodically. Records relating to completed orders — quotations, delivery notes, invoices and correspondence — are retained for the period required by Indian tax, customs and company law, currently a minimum of eight years, after which they are deleted or securely destroyed.
9. Security
This website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection and form submissions are transmitted over TLS. Access to enquiry data within our business is limited to the staff who need it to quote and deliver. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send financial account details, passwords or identity documents through the website forms.
10. Your rights
Subject to the law that applies to you, you may:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you and obtain a copy of it
- Ask us to correct data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date
- Ask us to erase data we no longer have a lawful reason to keep
- Withdraw a consent you previously gave, at any time
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity, as provided under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
- Complain to the relevant data protection authority
To exercise any of these, write to us using the details in section 13. We will respond within a reasonable period and, where the law sets a deadline, within that deadline.
11. International transfers
We are based in India and our customers are international. If you contact us from outside India, your data will be processed in India. Some of the service providers listed in section 6 operate globally and may process technical data outside your country. Where a transfer of your personal data is restricted by the law applying to you, we will rely on a lawful transfer mechanism recognised under that law.
12. Children
This website is directed at businesses in the maritime sector and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data of a child. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.
